Last photo shows moleskine compared to midori md for reference. It is quite shiny and looks a tiny greenish. The red makes it easy to locate.

Cons

Ugly and distracting blast of self-promotional text defacing the inside front endpaper. This makes everything in your journal a sloppy, jumbled mess. I just want a new color dotted journal!

It's sad to see a company with such a great legacy demeaned by the greedy behavior of its executives. I'm not quite sure why people continue to give glowing reviews. Don't understand the popularity.

Love the quality and by far the best i’ve had.

I only use moleskin notebooks because they are durable, aesthetically pleasing and the perfect size.

Despite all the use it has seen, it has not fallen apart or really shown much wear at all.

Pages won't fall out and moleskin paper has great writability.

Price

Great price and fast shipping for the best notebooks made.

My purchase from amazon was more than $5 cheaper than any local retailers.

The only thing i don't like about them is that, with tax, they cost me about $35 each.

I remember when these journals were much, much cheaper.
