Pros

This extension provides another six feet of cord which means i can listen to music without having to pull the cord tight. The female end holds your headphone jack very securely.

Haven't had any problems with shielding. Not issues with sound quality, no issues with the material cracking, breaking, etc. All looks good.

Cons

The sound quality, even for mono, is terrible. Sound cuts out or goes to mono (left or right ear only) as the cord is wiggled. The male end of this is plug seems to be a 2.
