Pros

Don't forget to remove the tiny lens caps on each end of the cable before connecting it. It works on my tv to my receiver. Seems a lot more robust than the super-thin optical cables that come with some electronics.

I expected them to be stiffer once i saw how thick they were in the packaging but was glad they were fairly nimble.

Competitiveness

This is the second thing i get from monoprice and i am impressed.

Incredibly it provides a better signal to my receiver than using the tv to transmit the hdmi signal to my receiver from the xbox.

Plus, those with "gold" attachments are, i have read, no better, but much more expensive.
