Pros

The plastic plate and the plastic molding for the binders are thick and solid. The banana binders work well. The right-angle plugs are slightly longer than the straight sewell deadbolt plug types. Easy to install.

They are indeed gold plated which is a miracle at this price. But if you want something that works, this is an incredible bargain.

Cons

The corners are of different curvature and the width is not an exact fit. There's a reason almost every audio article recommends banana plugs. Fortunately, the last purchase has the right faceplate.

The screw/post tolerances are atrocious. Without any screws or even guidelines on which screws to get, this is an exercise in futility. Frustrating as the pair from lowes cost almost as much as the 4 speaker plate.

This is highly deceptive and should be removed from the website. This is not white but creme. Will be submitting a request to amazon to change the product description.

These are very good quality banana plug connectors, very high quality workmanship and feel very solid.

Ran cl2 wires through walls to hide wires and not have several long wires running directly from the receiver (just in case.

I went the route of just using bare speaker wire on both sides and it was clunky, crowded, and frustrating.

I paid less than $4 for this, and it does what it is supposed to do, and it looks ok.

But if you want something that works, this is an incredible bargain.

Packaging/appearance

The wall plate arrived with two red binding posts on the long edge, and the two black on the opposite long edge.

Reassembled it looks like it came in black.
