Monoprice products are junk. This design is the worst. Very time consuming and frustrating. It is very disappointing.

I used a set of needle nose to flatten and tan the wire and bend it over.

There are a few different pieces that come apart and it was a little tricky for me to figure out how to secure the wire into the banana plug

The plugs definitely feel like quality but takes a lot of work to get cables to properly stay

You need to strip the shielding and wire to very specific lengths for the whole assembly to work

When you do it right you do not need to solider or use heat shrink tubing unless you want to as the connection is very secure i can not pull them off by hand

Initially i did not know why the plug unscrewed from the cable part but if you plugs are too loose you can unscrew it and compress it in my case case with vice grips so it will fit more snugly in the device your using
