Full disclosure, my wife has a fancy work dock at home.
I like that i can drive my 2 monitors, a mouse, and get power by a single port on my laptop.
The fact it has tells me the port is capable, but perhaps needs a firmware update that is unlikely to ever be provided :(
It also works with our aging dell laptop with a battery that no longer works so it must remained plugged in to work.
Price
The price was good on the refurbished unit too.

Turns out i need two cables one pd directly to the second usb 4 port to power the device

Otherwise the dock will provide data for the display

I know this is true because i can plug directly to the single hdmi port on the mini pc with the dock plugged in and a second monitor to one of the docks hdmi and only get the directly connect monitors display

It is hit and miss if i can get the mini pc with single cable operation at that dock as well
