Ive had this for months for a connection from my modem to my router and although its been laid in the same place all that time along a wall it still wont lay flat

Note i ended up cutting off the tips of the detent tabs that you press down to unlock shortened them by a couplefew millimeters

By default they are too long for the boots they use so you cant press them down far enough to unlock the connector from the jack
