Pros
The male connection to my recording device. Only downside, there is some quality lost for recording devices. The item works well with no defects.

Works perfectly i used it to split hd in living room to a 50ft component wire to the bedroom works great
It is as advertised and works perfectly for what i need and is very easy to connect to my equiptment
The wires were so stiff that some of the cables would come unplugged in the space i had to work in.
Led tv showed no loss and lcd displayed showed only minor degredation.
Price
Highly recommend this- have seen the same item in stores for over $20.
This did exactly what we needed (hd 720p video to two tvs) at an excellent price.
Not necessarily for someone looking for the best video quality available, but perfectly fine on a budget.
Shipping
The product arrived here the next day, and works great just what i ordered.
Cable came on time and good quality.
The product was delivered four days sooner than the promised date of delivery.
Fast shipping- item was received 4 days after the order was placed!
Competitiveness
The monoprice does not distinguish that the female connections differ in any way.
I imagine other hookups would be the same, but i have not actually done those.

After fussing with it a bit i was able to slide the amp back into place

When i added another tv to my house i ran out of outputs from my video matrix box 3 in x 5 out

I only use one of the outputs at a time so there is no loss of signal for my application

I do not know how it would work for multiple devices at the same time but if they are close to each other i dont think there would be any problem

It worked at desired but i noticed a little degradationaddition of artifacts in the images when using it
