Pros

Monoprice makes excellent cables at a good value. Have lots of the gold plated hdmi cables. I cannot complain much as it does exactly what it's intended to do.

The monoprice cable is well made with sturdy male connectors on either end. The connector ends on these cords fit very securely. Needed two cables for a splitter and these work great.

Cons

This cable is so frustrating to unplug. When i disconnect and reconnect it returns back to 1gbps. These buggers are almost impossible to remove from a port. If you plan to never ever ever unplug these, they are great.

Now i know why it was so inexpensive. This product is a scam. The design of this product is horrible.

It’s sturdy, well made, and does what i need it to.

The cord itself is very durable and does not feel cheap.

The locking mechanism is either too short or hindered by the plastic sleeve so unfastening these (especially in tight spots) is a pain.

It's very painful to remove with your fingers and basically requires the use of a tool like a screwdriver to press down on the latch.

Great price -- good to keep an extra on hand.
