We like the quality of it and the six foot length.

Works great with my sony cyber-shot dsc-w830, both with a wall charger, and for file transfer as usb mass storage device on windows.

Mobile ice 6 ft 8 pin usb cable worked fine

Lightroom will also not detect this as a device to import from, which kind of stinks.

Price

This inexpensive cable has greatly extended my photographic capabilities.

The price here on amazon makes it an excellent value as well.

I bought one from wal mart for $10 and one from radio shack for $20 they fit but did not work.

Also much cheaper than listings that include my camera by name.

I bought this monoprice cable as an alternative to the more expensive, tether tools tetherpro 15 foot cable.

I am using this as a tether cord between my nikon d7100 and my pc as well as my nikon d5100 and my pc.

I use these to charge the headphones i bought from jaybird.

Wished they sold longer 8-pin cables since it seems like there's only one company that sells really long 8-pin cables.
