The clamp mechanism makes it almost impossible to remove once inserted. My fingers hurt from trying and the skin of my thumb got ripped. My thumbs and index fingers are mangled from wresting with these.

Absolute rubbish. This product is a scam. Even worse, the cable fails to deliver a strong connection.
Price is very tempting but boot makes unlatching impossible by most humans. Come on, another amadud return time waster!
