It is very sturdy and stays put where it’s placed.
I tried extra strength wide velcro strips under the desk but the velcro did not hold after plugging and unplugging.
Clamps onto a cyberpower surge protector just fine, this won't work with one of those 12 plug surge protectors as they are too big.
