Pros & Cons
Pros
These speakers are compact but put out a ton of sound. They sound good if you keep the gain from your source notched down a little bit. They pack quite the punch for their size and output capabilities.
The power cord has an ordinary 2-prong ac plug rather than a wall wart. It has a headphone jack that will mute the sound on speakers when you plug them in. This is perfect for connecting my amazon echo dot's output to these speakers.
Cons
Poor sound lacking crispness and with muddy, often overpowering low frequencies. Audible buzz when powered on (even without other speaker connected) persists when in room without other electrical equipment.
Highlights
Quality
The quality of the sound is excellent with a sound stage that's much bigger than the size would have you believe.
Great stereo setup and works perfect, the output is the sum of all inputs therefore i can hook rca to 3.
The power-save feature on the t40 set allowed no control and was sporadic for audio on feature.

Price
These speakers are a great value in my experience.
These are definitely the best bang for the buck speakers you can get.
Even in the used market the asking price was ridiculous.
Decided to listen to them at a local b&m before making the purchase and i found for the price the bose were shameful.
Packaging/appearance
They were well packaged and were aesthetically pleasing.
They completed the look of my desk i was going for besides hiding the cable better.
Not a huge deal since not a hole but i think it was/is from poor packaging.
I didn't really like how they were packaged.
Competitiveness
I recommend these over bose companion, t40 and yamaha computer speakers for the price.
It's the best sound system i used so far beating other more expensive options.
