Pros & Cons
Pros
Octoprint is a great way to control the printer remotely. The interface is bright and easy to navigate. We use cura and find that it has met all our needs as is very easy to use. Monoprice's monoprice nt is a very affordable 3d printer.
This is the printer i will now be recommending to new users who have yet to delve into the wonderful world of 3d printing. The price is right, a really good value, and it has enough features for a beginner. It is definitely made for newbies and those ... Read More
Once i loaded the older software on to it, it seems to be running smoother. Allows for large vertical prints which is awesome. Only complaint is that while you can adjust the z offset (how high the nozzle is when it prints) there is no way of testing ... Read More
The bed is removable, a nice addition for a feature i didn't know i even needed. The bed leveling sensor is fairly basic, but surprisingly does it's job very well. The auto-leveling is very helpful.
It has a very small footprint, and fits under the cabinets in my laundry room, which doubles as a workroom. I’m pretty sure one of my filament mount screws really is missing, but the assembly works ok without it.

You need to use a tiny object to navigate it since it is so sensitive and prone to mis-touches. Monoprice hands down has the worst customer service of any technology seller/manufacturer i have ever worked with.
Highlights
Quality
Overall build quality is very strong and feels sturdy.
Easy set up, worked great out of the box!
Attached photos show a print out of pla.
The assembly was fairly simple with only a few screws and all the tools were provided.
Price
I bought this printer on sale because i was recommended it by a friend to make interior car parts.
Print quality isn’t horrible for the price, especially since there are lots of slicer settings to choose from.

Last thing as a fair warning current cura software doesn’t have a printer settings preset so looking online or using version 4 is your best bet
