Pros

The trendnet crimper is pretty good. It's possible that the quality of the crimper makes a difference in how reliably these will make a connection. Used in the application of an 32+ ip camera setup. Researched acceptable connectors.

Cons

These connectors are difficult to crimp. These are mislabeled. Latches are defective. Flaky connection, not worth the cheap price.

Buyer beware. Quantity over quality here. Not recommended for a build out at all, temporary fix maybe.

Great connectors, i’ve went through a couple hundred without any problems on solid cat6, cat5 and even direct burial cat6 (tight fit).

Easy to crimp and the latch clip doesnt get stuck down like other cheapos.

If you're going to have a high-strain on your cable you might want to opt for a higher quality plug.

The first cords i made would not lock into the rj45 female connectors and resulted in no connection between the pc and router.

Price

Probably the cheapest i have ever paid for mod ends.

They did the job and the price was right!

Not worth the risk when the cost is so similar.

Easy to use and came in promptly.

Competitiveness

I go through 50-100 of these a week and have had no issues with the monoprice brand.

Other brands often times don't have the little channels inside for wire to be guided in and can cause crimp issues.

Instead of buying patch cords i felt it would be more economical to create my own patch cords.
