Pros

Cables have far superior and larger gage wire than most cables out there. Soldering seems good, although internal wire (esp. Modifiable at both ends if needed) beyond that, i really like how soft and pliable the cable is.

This cable is fantastic for hooking up an unbalanced electronic product to a balanced speaker connection. These were purchased for connecting a pair of yamaha hs5 studio monitors to a dac.

Every monoprice product ive purchased is still in daily service while much else has been stored away for secondary use. I have not been disappointed and would definitely recommend.

Cons

The best you can do without mangling the cable is to open the xlr end of the connector and disconnect the shield. They often ship with mismatched wiring pin to pin.

My first misstep with mp. They're the worst cables i've ever purchased. Be careful.
