Pros

Ignore the funny name, the quality on their stuff is top notch. The monoprice premier series xlr to rca cables are incredibly high quality, not only for the money, but for just about any reasonable price.

This cable is fantastic for hooking up an unbalanced electronic product to a balanced speaker connection. I use this cable from my marantz sr6011 avr using the rca to xlr connecting to an inuke 3000dsp which powers my subs.

The new cables are twice as thick, and connectors much more sturdy. They are fairly large diameter ~1/4 inch however they are also very compliant and soft. They have far superior and larger gage wire than most cables out there.

Cons

One speaker bright and wide and the other muddier. They often ship with mismatched wiring pin to pin. Touching connector seems to make more noise, pops, static.

My first misstep with mp. They're the worst cables i've ever purchased. Be careful.
