I purchased a kindle copy of this book back in september of 2017 and the audible version back in february 6 2019 raising a family knew i couldn’t afford to keep up with writing so i let it slide until now when i’m retired and reading it and voluntarily leaving a review

Roses stories are never quick reads but they are wellcrafted

The word winced was overused to the point of screaming use a synonym finder

My main disappointment with this one is that it lacked the suspense that many of her others have

I also felt that clay acted out of character in some parts i wasnt surprised at the depth of his feeling about his daughter but the tough guy weve seen in the past would not have so openly expressed his feelings or let them effect his behavior as much

He would have probably told taylor all the things he did but one on one not in front of other people even those he considers family

I loved her relationship with ford and hope we will get to see it develop as a secondary story or in a novella im not sure there is enough there for a main storyline in another book
