It works very well clamping onto a flashlight and the aluminum body won't be damaged easily. Got the mag tube tri rail picatinny mount and mated it with this light mount. Not tested for shotgun recoil yet.

Very strong durable mount. Just as good as the top level gear. Seems solid but will update after more shooting.

This also takes a metric hex, fyi. Comes with one but would have been nicer if it was in us sizing for standardization. Tight fit and mount. Allen wrenches needed to install on your rail.

I tightend the nut and it broke. Entire mounting wobbles slightly on picatinny rail.
