The only downside is that it runs on 3 aa batteries.
The one who loves it sleeps with it running every night. Obsessed is an understatement. One is a wee bit obsessed and even plays when it's not on.
Cons
The rubber part gets stuck. The spool-shaped piece that keeps the elastic in place while allowing it to spin is not securely attached. The cat gives me a contemptuous look every time she passes by the door where it still hangs.

For the price it’s a good deal except for having to constantly replace the batteries.
