Pros & Cons

Pros

The metal hammered bronze finish bird feeder is very beautiful. It is thick glass and very sturdy. Specie.

The little caps that go over the openings help sheild the rain. Whereas other feeders always require breaking up moldy seed cakes. It never clogs and the seeds stay fresh and ready for consumption.

Cons

The wire mesh is not strong enough to withstand chewing by eager squirrels. It is a nice looking feeder and it is easy to fill, but it is also empty after 1 day with all the seed dumping out.

This product is not durable. Second one going back for a refund. The warranty is only for 90 days.

I believe this is due to the poorly-fitting metal cap contracting in the cold winter weather and exerting uneven compressive stresses on the top opening the glass. I will try what some of the others have suggested with rigging it to try and stop the d...  Read More

Quality

Good quality bird feeder, sturdy and working well even after many months

If only all feeders were so simple and high quality!

What i love best is rain water does not sit and cake up with the design of the seed portal.

The cardinals and finches like to feed from it so, i’m happy.

Competitiveness

Even so, i bought a second one, which got a roof made from the lid of a store-bought pie crust.

I bought this feeder after researching on how to keep pigeons off my feeder

They way this feeder is made and shaped the pigeons can not get on it

There are a couple of things worth noting 1 it is small and so you have to fill it often maybe even once a day and 2 the small size is good in the sense that it avoids larger black birds from jumping on it although somehow dove can occasionally perch on it but unless the black hook hangs from something flat above it the larger birds will land on the hook and when they fly off it shakes the feeder so a lot of seed falls to the ground

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The smaller birds are completely unphased by the suet feeder above it

Your visuals of the birds are superior on this little blue feeder because they you can see them from every angle and they are never obscured by the feeder itself

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I dont even remember what i paid for it but it doesnt matter

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

They like it so much i bought a second one and the birds still have to wait their turn sometimes because all the ports on both of these feeders are occupied
