Pros

It works, looks classy and is easy to clean. I know you’re not supposed to have to boil it, but it seems to stay clear much better. Flat bottom makes filling easy.

This nectar feeder is super sturdy in the leak proof. The only issue is the orioles use their beaks to get to the nectar. Oranges are the best way to get them to start coming but you got to put them out early. They usually show up with the crabtree ap...  Read More

Bee guards are a godsend. No issues with bees or wasps. Good for the bees, good for the birds.

Both orioles and hummers love it. The hummys love it too, so it gets plenty of use hanging on the shepherd's hook outside my back door.

The design is beautiful! Very nice looking too. It is pretty. Very attractive. This is the second one of these i've purchased.

Cons

The problem is the coarseness of the receiving bottom piece's threading. It's difficult to believe the manufacturer is not now aware of this defect. Shop around and read reviews before purchasing.

Quality

This feeder is sturdy, easy to clean and the best design i have found.

This is the one that has successfully not leaked, easy to fill and clean and made of glass (mostly).

Some bases are deep and the birds can't get to the juice in the bottom and it is wasted when the feeder is refilled.

This year the glass top just broke.

Price

The oriels are not happy they can’t drink from it and with the jelly going up almost $1 per jar, sugar water is much cheaper.

But the 30 dollar price from 18 dollars is just plan over the top.

, $5 shipping, the price of a new feeder.

Shipping

I was happy to get this so quickly!

Packaging/appearance

I like my hummingbird feeder it’s very pretty and the birds love it

Looked online and amazon and found no replacement flowers with hole.

The little flexible openings keep wasps out

It is perfect if it is “only” for orioles

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Since i wanted it for orioles as well as hummingbirds i added a small plastic wire closer to the center as resting bars for them since the ones it has are too far apart from the drinking opening and hummingbirds can’t rest on it

The orioles will probably peck away the plastic flowers but we came up with a solution

Im ordering a replacement when i broke the glass

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Bee guards arent a hundred percent successful if squirrels or birds rip out the rubber middle of the flowers but at least it works most of the time when the little rubber flowers are intact

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I have flocks coming back every year of orioles starting with one pair i got because they found my hummingbird feeder

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Oranges are the best way to get them to start coming but you got to put them out early in the season
