Pros

We boil the water and then put the sugar in to let it dissolve. Easy to clean - i wash it, rinse it with diluted bleach, and rinse well before refilling. Only complaint is that the feeding tray does not quite line up easily with the bottle.

Their beloved feeder is back and they are again fighting over it. My cats and i enjoy the show. I get to admire them as they take a breather.

Cons

The glass is not red, as i believed. Started leaking after a month. It leaks sugar water, has no ant barrier and is hard to clean.

It is very well-made, having five feeding ports equipped with small perches for the little guests.

They advertise this as having a "durable metal top and basin" but in reality only the top part is metal, but the basin is just plastic.

Glass bottle, comes apart and wide opening for easy cleaning!

Price

Our local garden store had the big brother to these on sale for us$40.

Amazon has a lower price than local venders.

This is my 11th feeder as my birds prefer it over all my other brands i’ve purchased.
