Pros

This is the easiest way to make a secure insulated connection in the least amount of time that i have used. They already come with an oxide inhibitor pre-filled. If you need more than a wing nut, this is the quickest and easiest way. They are great fo...  Read More

The device inserts nicely, the soft rounded edges are quite pleasurable. They are reusable and can easily be adjusted.

These things are very well made and clamp tightly on the wire. They are about $5 cheaper each than comparable items that use an allen key to tighten, rather than a screwdriver.

Quality

What a great idea, very easy to use with the heavy gauge wiring.

This product is very easy to use and offers a good quality, insulated connection.

I bought the style that had allen head socket for the clamping screws and am very satisfied.

The only thing confusing is that for 4-14 and 2-14, the product listing says "slotted allen hex" but in reality it is a slotted...  Read More

Price

Price is reasonable for the time saved.

Super ez to install and best price i could find.

Competitiveness

Ordered the 2-14awg connector, used this for a 100a 480v circuit, for ease in splicing #3 in an 8x8 can.

I was joining wiring for a 240v outlet and didn't want to take any chances so i opted to use these.

I originally was going to connect these 2 4awg cables together using a split bolt, and wrapping them with 2 different kinds of tape.

I checked the morris products website for a cut sheet and to make sure it was rated forwhat i needed, and ul listed.

Decent product but description stated allen head big difference for torque

You have to remove at least two plugs but when you go to reinstall one of the plugs after you tighten the wire down you have no idea which plug to insert

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

One of the plugs is to small and possibly by the time you figure that out you may have disposed of the right plug

While they look like they have 4 holes they really only have two with the other two being the set screws to affix the cable ends into the waterproof units gel on the inside

If you have a lot of connections to make these may not be very cost effective

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It doesnt take up much space and easily connected 3 8gauge wires

I needed to splice multiple 2 aluminum cables in a junction box and straight splices would have taken up too much space

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

These angle splices allow the line and load cable ends to lie and deadend together in the box
