Pros & Cons
Pros
Opening is about 12x12 with quarter inch ingress around opening. The hinged door is super helpful!
The product appears to be exactly what i wanted. Good product at a good price. Nice quality.
Easy to install, probably never have to use the access again, so sturdiness not an issue. Very unobtrusive appearance, super easy to install. Works perfect amd easy to cut out opening for fit.
Using the right tool for the job makes a difference. This is as described. Does the job perfectly. Works as intended.
Cons
This access panel is not suitable for 1/2 inch sheet rock. The item description online and the packaging on the product itself says 8in x 8in. I'm not sure how someone thought a rectangle could ever be 8x8?

I am a 70 yo lady, and the 12x12 hole i cut wasn't perfect, but the access panel with the frame around it hides it well.
Price
Great price looks good and easy to install.
Overall: does what it says for a good price.
Competitiveness
I cut an 11x11 hole in the drywall to access the valve and change it out.
It was a 12x14” hole that i had to cut larger to find a panel to fit.
