If you're looking for a dac to improve sound quality, there are probably better options.
The other 3 with the dangling separate cords didn't work.
Build quality is solid, metal case, stiff rubber coating the cord.

However i figured out a process to get this device to work

Plug headset into device then device into phone play a songvideo and wait until you hear the audio in the head phones then plug power into the device your music should stop and the phone should start charging now wait 5 seconds play your songvideo again you should hear sound and the phone should be charging
