There are a couple small marks on 2 corners of the case but nothing on my phone

The case does make the phone thicker however the protection to the buttons on the side of the phone are a big plus

It wasnt easy to cut though took strong kitchen shears instead of regular scissors so i can testify the material is quite strong and bends pretty thoroughly without breaking at least the colored partive only dropped my phone a few times since i got this and not on concrete but its handled linoleum and laminate flooring without difficulty and the little lip around the edge protects your screen and camera when set onto a flat surface

Be aware also that it covers the buttons with part of the case so you are actually pressing on the case and not the buttons
