All you need is a 3/8 socket and a 1/4 ratchet. Rather than the offset end prybar to lessen up the tension.
Crown vic/grand marquis parts are becoming discontinued. Strait out replacement part, no problems or issues. It fits perfect works flawlessly.

I also was not able to even get close to it with my pry bar before i had the youtube it and find out that it actually could be done this way
