When through two different aftermarket ones and both failed within a month and i said screw it and purchased the oem and worked right out of the box and where the aftermarkets fail the oem keeps on ticking

This part is one of the later generation ford tps which supposedly is less prone to future failure than supplied oe greater longevity

I was skeptical when this arrived and not only did it rattle but the metal receptacle that fits over the shaft of the throttle body seemed very loose

Old school that the contact must stay tight against each other

This only rotates 180 degrees so i made sure that when installed the throttle body shaft would be able to rotate without the tps locking up because it was at the end of its travel
