I just replaced the same filter as it had reached the 22month mark at 15000 miles of use

The af1032a worked but it was a tight fit that made the air filter housing hard to remove

The filter was reinforced with a metal mesh but it was very stiff and did not flex easily

Also the plastisol seal around the filter seemed dry and stiff

In contrast the motorcraft fa1783 just fits perfectly and the soft polyurethane side provides a tight seal

The fa 1032 will also fit barely but it is almost too large for the box
