Pros

Fuel system on todays diesels are sensitive to oil pressure. Power stoke engines. Cal's review with pictures is very useful for novice diesel owners.

Comes with a frame rail canister filter media and a large o-ring. No other aftermarket fuel filter maker has duplicated their design. Only motorcraft has a special secondary filtering screen on the primary filter.

Cons

Motorcraft filters are not genuine ford motor craft parts. Canister is too large. Damaged and not first quality.

The area is already tight and no room to work.

It may not look like much but the deform portion on the filter housing made it impossible to install in its canister.

Price

Easy to do and way cheaper than the $200+ that the dealership wants to do it.

All at a much better price than the auto parts store.

Same thing you'd buy from the dealer at a 3rd the cost

I love that these can get to me quickly and they are much less that what i would pay at the dealer or at an auto parts store.
