It runs much cooler than my old modem, but it still does dissipate a minimal amount of heat. It ups my speeds by a noticeable margin and when i need to reboot it's much snappier.

The mb8611 was a great modem for a couple months and then all of sudden i started experiencing dhcp sync issues on my modem.
Price
I got this modem to stop paying rental fees to my internet company, and it has proven to be a great cost-saving measure.
But at the current sale price, just under $100, it’s an outstanding value, certainly an option worth considering.
At around $200, it’s a solid value.

This design should have been brought to the market much sooner.

I typically receive around 22002300mbps wired and 1500mbps wireless on my current network with wifi 7 and 2

However the upload speed does not exceed the typical 40mbps as only specific modems approved by xfinity can achieve higher upload speeds

Other modems do provide the ability to use the 34up to34 200mbps changes but this one does not
