Hiccups with the app and account setup, but were resolved easy enough. It shows whether you sent a message via cell or satellite. The receiver got the message in less then a min after sending it based on the timestamps.

The bullitt app is not secure. The company is incompintant as far as securing the messaging platfom goes. The system only sends new recipients one terse sms message and then expects your recipients to install and configure the proprietary app.

Google searches for motorola defy are polluted by a phone of the same name. Bullitt group that developed this product is insolvent. Save up and buy an inreach. That brand is also in jeopardy.

Something about having this strapped to a human makes it useless as a push-button reascue beacon. Same thing on a motorcycle. Maybe i'm just dumb, but this thing was a horrible experience.
