There is no lip around the camera cut out but there is a curve to the back at the top and bottom of the case that keeps the cameras from actually touching anything when placed on its back

It pretty much the same size as other companies screen protectors for moto g5 they all leave alittle edge all around phone unprotected and my phone screen still broke and it was just the corner and it stopped working 😪

Im not a fan of screen protectors everyone that ive tried i always had bubbles that i couldnt get out or it effected the effectiveness of the touch screen

The case just didnt feel good in my hand and while looking for one i was surprised to find an inexpensive one made by motorola

How could i go wrong with a case made by the manufacturer i was correct the phone was now an extension of my hand and was a perfect fit with the finger sensor
