I had to upgrade my splitter/booster that directly connects to the incoming line from outside to a moca compatible splitter (commscope) first, make sure to call verizon and change your ethernet/data from coax to the cat 6 port on the ont.

    Basically you are just sending the internet signal into the coax and retrieving it back out of the coax somewhere else

    Being that i was at the 1993 comcastmotorola confab that built the first 34surfboard34 im generally not all that excited by gear but the moca standard is the coolest thing in digital since the motorola 34surfboard34 cable modem itself
