I bought this att dsl modem from att for one hundred dollars since i wasnt clear on which dsl modems were compatible with the att uverse dsl copper line

There are four ethernet outputs but only the computer configured with att proprietary software works on any of them after being configured

The wireless setup was trivial and uses the wireless standard so if you have other devices youll probably have to set them up as wireless clients or get a wireless to ethernet adapter for them

The web setup asked for any of five modems so i assume any new or used will work with their software on att uverse dsl in canvg510motorola 2210022wire 2701hgvbmotorola 3360pace 511119 aug 2012 updateatt has this modems firewall setup by default to block everything but the basics like web browsing and email they dont trust you to have a proper firewall on your windows os so if you need to do windows remote desktop and probably ooma voip phone service youll have to configure port forwarding
