Pros

Setup is relatively easy but if your wanting to customize it can be a bit of a pain. App provides a lot of useful data and security. Bought two for better coverage. The app is super easy to use, and very helpful!

Cons

The logging on this thing is basically non existent. Motorola mentors are useless. I have no idea what credentials it wants to update nor why because there's no explanation.

The app itself is very basic and somewhat slow. As a connected mesh system with main and 2 satellites the performance is terrible. Spend your money on a non-motorola highly rated mesh unit.

Competitiveness

This wifi mesh system along with the motorola modem have been a great investment.

The motosync ap makes control and monitoring of my network so much easier and accesible than the isp's router.

We have tried a few products and none of them compare to this.

So, my cable modem / router is a motorola mg8702, so i figured i'd go with the motorola mesh system for better compatibility hopefully.
