Pros

Mountain house and 4patriots. Moutain house are a little easier to use than 4patriot because their foil packages have a zip lock closure. More convenient when backpacking. Also is a great addition to my edc bag.


Cons

I don't trust the packaging of the food items. Amp; feels like it would not withstand serious storage or in a backpacking adventure where you could get caught in heavy rain.
