It was very simple to prepare the entree. Double pre and post stir times for re constituting. The time involved in preparing it depends on how fast you can get your water to boil.
While the mushroom pieces were quite small, the onion flavor is really tasty. The beef is not chewy.
Cons
It's not inedible - it's just not good. The gravy is flavorless. The flavor is kind of a weird metallic. The overall impression is of a mildly flavored, beef noodle soup.

Quick and easy to make and great for emergencies if you have a way to boil water in power outages.
The bag is sturdy and quite easy to hold while eating without burning your hand.
If you are out and need a meal at the end of a hard day and all you can do is re-hydrate a meal, you won't even care.
Shelf life is long, about 30 years from date of purchase.
Price
The portion was small, especially considering the price.
This is a win considering the lower price point.

The taste is alright better than other brands but it's amazing the shelf life of this stuff
