Pros

The #10 cans have a 25-year shelf life (unopened).

This type of food is a great choice for an emergency food supply, especially for sheltering in place or evacuating by vehicle. They carry all their meals in 2-3 serving size pouches.

It rehydrates into delicious cubed beef and tastes just as good as fresh. It goes a long way, is flavorful, and doesnt get rubbery at all when hydrated.

Cons

It taste likes frozen potpie meat. Its got protein & its light weight to carry. Both were dented.
