Pros

One pouch is plenty for both of us. Double-up on the packs or buy the bucket size container and portion appropriately. Pick your tent/cabin buddies accordingly.

The only recent downfall of mountain house is it’s about 1/3 less of the amount of food. Price is competitive but expensive to buy a lot.

Mountain house has the best taste of the many brands i've tried. Comfort and flavor is top notch. All my campers, from 8years old to 60, love the flavor of mountainhouse lasagna. Mountain house is a great company with great products.

Cons

There's plenty of meat but it's gristly and grainy. Reminds me of a watered down version of campbell’s tomato rice soup. Grams of added sugar. Just feed people food not diabetes.

Food prices have gotten so crazy $9 for a meal is a steal, plus the shelf life and always having lightweight camping food on hand.

It is a filling meal after a long day of hiking and at the sale price on prime day, these are a bargain.

Way overpriced in my opinion, the value was not there for me.

I paid $9 in 2021 and a year later in 2022 it's priced around $10.

We packet this in our 20 day trip to finland-norway.

It's pretty close to that easy, i had bought this to fill out my order, so i would get same-day delivery.

Packaging/appearance

I heard these packets were pretty good.

Should have included a flavor packet with italian herbs and maybe red flakes.

Boil water, open package, pour water in, wait, stir and eat.

Competitiveness

10 times better than the af lasagna.

We went by the reviews on many different brands and this one had very good reviews.

No need to taste test this if you've had chef boyardee, it's nearly identical, perhaps slightly better.
