Pros

I wish it was a little softer and a little less crumbly. The texture is a bit to get used to. A little less sweet than the neopolitan bar with a cleaner taste though not as strong.

Probably the classiest of the dried ice creams. Freeze-dried and packaged will last almost forever. If you are looking for a great tasting freeze dried ice cream sandwich then this is the one.

Tastes just like ice cream without the hassle of melting. Try dunking it in hot coffee, yum. Once you get the center wet it starts to turn into like the marshmallows in lucky charms.

After a long day on the trail, some pan fry trout or mountain house meals (lasagna for me) is about the best thing. Fun for backpacking. Eating glop and trail mix then to have this as a treat is a way to make it through the day.

Cons

Even when i let a piece sit in my mouth for 2 mins to rehydrate, it still has barely any flavor. The flavor is nothing special, the product is chunks crumbs. Bad luck for the vanilla hater in the home.
