Pros

The quality is good, as far as the freshness and the taste is good. Little pricey but not the priciest. I like both and my with tasted the biscuits and gravy and said it was good.

Easy to make- all you need is boiling water and a measuring cup. It tastes a bit salty but not too bad. Make sure you stir the contents thoroughly several times during the cooking process.

This gluten-free meal tastes surprisingly good, and has an impressively long shelf life. The biggest seller for us with these meals is that there are gluten free options.

Convenient and nutritious. They're so much easier for taking along backpacking because they don't add any extra weight. It is prudent to have enough survival material to be comfortable not just to survive.

I'm reviewing this item based primarily on its packaging.

Again, the packaging is good, sturdy, waterproof, looks like it is designed to store for multiple years.

Competitiveness

The quality is always good in comparison to other brands.

I have several brands, but in both my and my husband's opinions, this brand is the best of the freeze-dried options as far as taste goes.

Mountain house is my preferred choice after sampling many other brands.
