They don’t slip, they have a nice grip and are waterproof.
They are the most comfortable boots i have ever owned.
Being that they have the waterproof membrane (goretex type lining), i will use them for work boots for my job.

I haven’t used them for any “hiking” but for everyday use, they are worth the price.
