Pros
These are some of the nicest shoes i've ever owned. The laces on these are thicker and softer. I'm hoping that once pulled tight and knotted they will stay done up.
Fit is a little snug but not terrible. The fabrication is top notch. There are 3 different versions of sizing.
Comes in great colors, design looks chic and not hefty. A worthy barter.
Cons
The soles are hollow! After minimum use they are full of holes which means no longer waterproof. En plus cen'test pas la grandeur demandée.

The leather is claimed to be made of leather even on the tag on the inside of the tongue but its more likely to be synthetic because the texture is too smooth even to be from an animal and if it is waterproof as described that too argues for synthetic not natural leather

For all the complicated stitching of the uppers i cant find any areas that are crimped or doubled over and the top layer has two parallel rows of stitches that are absolutely perfect as if the sewing machine itself had two parallel needles working similtaneously

I have two older pairs of merrell hikers and i can never keep the laces knotted and its so annoying that as much as i paid for them and as long as ive had them theyre still hardly broken in
