Pros

Mountain fresh is my favorite scent. Nice scent but doesn't linger after rinsing. It's just nice to be able to use a nice smelling all-natural product.

For my beard length, about 4 inches long, it takes a nickel size glob in my hand to get a good lather. I love how just a little of this product is all it takes for a rich cleansing lather.

Cons

For $15 i expect a beard wash that culls beard-druff for at least 24 hrs. Talk about making a good product pointless to their customers.

This is harsh and drying for me. Makes my beard feel sticky and greesey. Also as another reviewer pointed out, it goes on kinda like tar.

Wv timber goes from smelling like timber to smelling like patchouli and mint. You have to take it apart to clean out the thick, clogged soap. The clog in the small opening is a pain in the rear end.

I paid for an 8 oz bottle back in january of this year and spent $14 total on it, after shipping.

The price has now increased from $14 total to around $22 total.

I took it upon myself to also order balm from their website and they even sent me a bottle of oil.

Competitiveness

Smells great and better quality than the brands at target, etc.

I've tried a few others before using mountaineer, or in downtime when i haven't had it, and it still has been the best.

Back in july i finally found that brand, that being "mountaineer brand".

Otherwise, i will stay away from the mountaineer brand.
