Highlights
Quality
I used this pack for a three-night trip into the grand canyon and was very satisfied with the performance.
99 for a quality 60 liter bag with a rain fly is an incredible value.
Color great, amazing quality, good features overall.
Price
But the price seems to change as the weather warms.
I was not really expecting too much because it just cost me $27.
Packaging/appearance
My only issue is that the pockets on the hip pads get half covered up where the shoulder straps connect to the bottom of the pack.
I'm 5' tall and the torso height adjustment built into the pack made it very easy to adjust for my build.
The straps are great and there's a lot of them outside the pack to attatch sleeping bags, cooking gear, cups, bottles, etc.
) on the pack that are useful additions.
Competitiveness
So please understand that this is not a deuter or an osprey.
Also the rain cover wouldn't fit on my pack if i had my sleeping pad on it, i used an rei 100l rain cover and that worked just fine.
