A little heavy but shoulder straps run too much for multi day hikes just bought this bag for a trip next month only problem and only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that i constantly had to readjust the straps as they were loosening up as i was walking on long 8 hours trek that was really annoying and by friend who had a more expensive brand name bag didnt have that problem
