The magnetism is not very strong. You end up having to fiddle with the whole stand to get the inner ring out. I have a brand new iphone and this thing just made irreversible marks.

I would only also recommend purchasing a think metal plate from amazon as i had a rubber case on my iphone and didn’t want to take of this case unfortunately the magnet wasn’t strong enough to go through the rubber but the adhesive thin metal plate i bought for £5 solved this

Maybe an update for the next version should be to have the inner ring within the overall thickness of the ring
