The bamboo tops with the straw holes are not very super secure so not spill-proof; that's probably the only downside to this set.

The set does include some cleaning accessories but these are basically a joke the pipe cleaners are too small to be very efficient at cleaning these wide straws and the cup sponge is very flimsy and will probably fall apart after a couple weeks of usage

I mean no one is going to be turning these glasses upside down because the liquid would come out the center straw hole so im not sure why the lids have to be so tight

My wife does not like metal straws so you can see in the picture that she uses a plastic one

As you can see in the photos they are about three times the diameter of a normal straw
